Why is the Contents section (with the Create project from existing source option) (sometimes) missing in the Create a Java Project screen ? The online help at "Platform Plug-in Developer Guide > Examples Guide > Standard Widget Toolkit > Running and browsing the SWT examples manually" instructs me to create a new (SWT Examples) Java Project selecting "Create project from existing source". Also all screenshots from the New Java Project wizard in the manual show a Contents section with this option. However the Contents section is not mentioned in the description in "Java development user guide > Reference > Wizards and Dialogs > Create New Elements > New Java Project wizard", nor does it appear on my computer.

The documentation is a bit outdated, filed
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=345691 and
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=345693 to get them
updated. Thanks for pointing this out!

The information on this page is correct.

Thanks for answering. Then, when the documentation has been updated, what will be the correct instructions for creating the new SWT Examples Java project from the source in eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.sdk.examples.source_3.1.0/src/or g.eclipse.swt.examples_3.1.0. (Yes, I am completely new to Eclipse !)

As mentioned in "Java development user guide > Reference > Wizards and
Dialogs > Create New Elements > New Java Project wizard", in the
'Location' field provide the location of your existing project.
