added it to the "to" list of the reply, so no need to repost, but please
monitor that forum and post any replies to it, not this one.

for custumizing the mode explorer (browser), we use EMF Facet:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMF_Facet/#User_documentation

If you go to the Papyrus svn, in the sysml folder of plugin, you will have an example of uch custumization on SysML.
