I saw a few posts with same problem that I think can be solved with linked folders under your main project. Two things: The svn connection needs to exist as its own project and you need to switch over to svn project to commit.|
1. Create the connection to the repo as its own project (the default.) You don't have to specify the entire repo. You can drill down to the folders you need.
The files will get checked-out to the local file system.
2. In your dev project create a folder New/Folder/Advanced/Link... select the folder in the file system (where dir2 got checked-out).
The files will get refactored (I think), processed by the dev project.
You can double click on the files and edit the source. It won't show updated as per the svn. You need to switch over to the svn project to brows, commit, etc.
