Multi-page Editors/Parts in e4? [message #661595] Fri, 25 March 2011 14:18 Go to next message

Hi all,

I've got a simple question, but did not find anything about this in the wiki or via Google. In e4, editors and views are replaced by parts. Is there any equivalent for multi-page editors or any way to simulate them?

I recognized I can inject parts into each other using DI, but this still results in both parts being displayed on one page, one beneath the other.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

We do not have ported those things into pure e4 until now and won't be
able to do so in 4.1 until we ship but I think we should definately put
something like this on the plan for 4.2.

The thought is to either have put a partstack where the MPEP is supposed
to go (so that it can contain the 2 editors) or to create an MPart that
can contain further MParts, adding some of the processing for them.
