We are also a successful company with triple digit revenue growth, millions of downloads and thousands of blue chip companies running our software in mission-critical production environments.
All this is backed by a crew of passionate and skilled infrastructure engineers in our San Francisco and Buenos Aires offices. We need coders for our team who are not afraid to take ownership of the product or module they are working on.
Your mission is to build a great IDE with a compelling user experience that increases new user adoption and productivity with Mule.
In this role, you will be leading development and driving the technical vision for a new set of open source Eclipse IDE based developer tooling for Mule ESB. Understanding the architecture of Eclipse, threading model, OSGi, GEF, PDK, etc. certainly helps, but demonstrable success in any sophisticated UI framework and an understanding of core UI architecture concepts would convince us that you have the technical chops for the job.
Above all, you should be passionate about delivering a great user experience for the Mule developer and know the difference between useful graphical tooling and eye-candy.
As a lead, you also must build a sense of accomplishment and ownership on the team and help them reach a high level of performance.
Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco or Buenos Aires. Otherwise, requirements for the position are simple and the right candidate will have no problem demonstrating the following:
- Record of doing more than expected of you
- Track record of career success, a clear impact player
- Have a passion that cannot be thwarted for creating high quality software and a curiosity for experimenting and challenging assumptions
