Has anyone seen any discussion about the idea of porting JFace Data Binding for use on Android? It's been a couple of years, but I've used JFDB quite a bit and really miss it in the Android world. I've found a similar project (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/android/androidbinding.aspx) but it doesn't look nearly as mature as JFDB.
I seem to remember that there was a long-term goal of decoupling JFDB from SWT altogether; am I remembering correctly?

Thanks,
Eric

Hi,

Yes I've worked on such a thing a long long time ago and it was not more
than some hours of work to get it run [1].

All you'd need to do is to write IObservables for the Android controls
and maybe Viewer implementations (I'd suggest to use the base support
provided by UFaceKit for this).
