Other than *.* in Open File dialog [message #656774] |

Hi,
In my Eclipse application (including plug-ins I developed), there is a control in the "Open File" dialog that allows one to select the file extensions to filter by. By default, this is set to *.*. In fact, *.* is the only option in the list.
Does anyone know how to add to this list or set the default value for this list? I've been unable to figure out how to contribute to this.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply!
In order to use your advice, it appears I have to hide the already-contributed 'Open File' menu item and contribute a new one with my own command that opens a new FileDialog instance with my custom settings.
I was hoping there would be a way to provide the filters without having to start the menu item over from scratch, but I haven't been able to find a way.
Thanks again!
