It looks like Google wasn't only in the center of media coverage through its
Marketing Exec, the company also purchased a translation service provider:

Projects like Sequoyah have started using Google Translate for some of their
i18n efforts. Unless Babel is no longer active or focussed entirely on the
Translation Server, some of those efforts look very good and constructive.
Not to mention Google's own UI and Message translator inherited with
WindowBuilder, but that's another story.
