How to propagate a Data Source to sub reports? [message #652649]

I have a main report that has many drill through links to sub reports.

If I change the URL in the main report to point to a different datasource, I need to make sure all the subreports also point to the new datasource. How can I do this?

Well, you can go manually and open and edit each report.

Or, you can create a RPTLIBRARY file, create the datasource connection there, then have each of the reports inherit the datasource from the RPTLIBRARY file. That way, you only need to change the datasource in one place and all dependent reports will automatically pick it up.
