Do you know why/how this could be a symptom of a corrupted install? Eclipse seems to be the only package on my system that gives any error what-so-ever and considering it is not part of the original distribution and written almost entirely in java (which doesn't come with slackware either) I would think there aren't too many dependencies on the actual 'system' rather the eclipse package dependencies, now Of course the 'packages' are dependent on the 'system' but, if the system was corrupt I would suspect to see this behavior from other programs, which is not the case. If you have more in site into your suggestion I would be interested to hear.|
Looks like eclipse has this issue, my bug report got marked as a dup to this one.
Although, I am SURE other slackware 13.1 users are running eclipse just fine...so perhaps it could be my system.
EDIT: changed 'I' to 'it'
