I've tried adding

set JAVA_OPTS="-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8000,server=y,suspend= n -Djava.awt.headless=true -Xmx128M"

and

set DEBUG_OPTS="-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8000,server=y,suspend= n -Djava.awt.headless=true -Xmx128M"

to catalina.sh with no success. I know nothing is listening on port 8000. Any suggestions about what to try next? Thanks.
