I'm using the default "J2EE Preview" server that comes bundled with Eclipse to do some development as it is very fast but I don't see where or how I can configure a user realm to enable authentication on the webapp.

I've configured my web.xml with the necessary entries to enable form authentication but when I try to access the pages I get:

HTTP ERROR 500

Problem accessing /xxx/yyy. Reason:

No realm

Does the J2EE Preview server support authentication?

If not, how can I use Jetty with publishing directly from my webapp folder without generating a .war?

Thank you
