I am developing a plug-in to extened the CDT project.

I have successfully branded my plug-in (I now get a nice icon in the bottom half of the about box).

My question is, why doesn't it to work when self-hosting?

The only way I can see my icon in the about box is export it as a deployable feature. Then manually copy the generated files into the dropins directory in my eclise directory.

I have try changing the run configuration settings but with no success. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I am also having some CDT related issues which seem intermitant and I am wondering if my plug-in is been correctly registered when self hosting. These problems are probabily not related, but I am a bit uneasy since the branding doesn't work when self hosting, what else might not be working correctly.

I am using Helios Service Release 1 and PDE version 3.6.1.r361_v20100727-7b7mFL-FET3dhESDgE5_bkJ running on Windows XP.

Thanks in advance.
