Hi,
I already posted my problem in the newcomers-forum and alos found an old post from April 2009 with exactly the same problem, but without an solution, here the old post:

Hello Everybody,

Here a update to my Problem:

When I switch the workspace it sets the values in the org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs file,
BUT when my application is restarting it does not load this workspace.

I suspect that I forgot something in my Application class (implementation of the interface org.eclipse.equinox.app.IApplication).
Maybe to call a method which reads and handles the workspace-config-file

I hope you can help me on that.
