The e4 project is seeking to gather folks of jdt and those interesed in providing variants of jdt (aspectj, groovy, ...) to work towards a harmonized jdt... maybe this is of interest to you (OT team)?

Thanks for the hint. Yes I had noticed renewed activity on Bug 36939.

I will shortly enter the round of introductions on e4-dev.
