Hey all.

I am thinking of doing a basic app that works with GIT and I read on the Internet that JGIT was a decent Java library for GIT.

I found this website and managed to download the JGIT-jar.. but where is the documentation?

At http://eclipse.org/jgit/ there is a button stating "Documentation, Tutorials, Examples, Videos, Online Reference". Oh sweet, I thought. But clicking it, I just come to this forum.

I have really tried to Google, but where do I find a tutorial/examples for using JGIT? Where does a newbie start?

Well, the way I learned JGit, is by looking at the source code. The source is getting better at documentation (still not that great), but the code is structured beautifully.

If you need help with it, let us know, and we will gladly help!
