Hello,

i currently try to build a RCP application with Buckminster 3.6. My problem is, that the product is based on a custom config.ini which is taken if i use the pde export function. But Buckminster (in the IDE as in headless mode) is ignoring it and generates a new one.

I tried to solve this issue somehow and I found already several infos about that, but it does not really helps:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=190425
-> An "old" bug about pathes issues if the config.ini is located in a feature. I have played around with that. No success.

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=321303
-> Bug report seems to descripe exactly my problem.Does no Buckminster user have an application with a custom config.ini file? Is that problem concerning only a few people, so it is not fixed yet?

I tried to add the config.ini with the root properties mechanism (root.folder.configuration=file:config.ini). But it does not work, because the generated config.ini is already existing and is not overwritten than.

I am a little bit frustrated because this is really an issue for me. When that does not work, I cannot use Buckminster to build the RCP application at all.

fyi: I used the create.product action from Ralf's Tutorial: http://www.ralfebert.de/blog/eclipsercp/rcp_builds/

Has someone any experience with that? Hints and solutions would be welcome.
