Using 0.9.3, I can't see branches and tags displayed in the History view. The only branch which does (correctly) appear is on a remote other than origin. No branches or tags from origin are displayed.

Maybe this is still to be implemented, but as a gitx user, I would find this very useful, ideally with the ability to drag branches around, although the latter is admittedly pretty advanced function.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Import the org.eclipse.* projects from the Virgo kernel git repo [1].
2. Open the history view by right-clicking on the org.eclipse.virgo.kernel.core project and selecting Team->Show in History.
3. The only branch visible is "sandbox/master" on the sandbox remote (on github). No branches or tags are shown on the origin remote (on git.eclipse.org).

I found an option to display all branches, which it does, but without any labels to say which is which.

Thanks Mattias.

I tried to update using that site and got a checksum error (see the attachment, which I'll try to attach in a minute - I cannot see an attach file option right now), which prevented the update. Any ideas?

It seems that the maximum file attachment size is 0KB, so I guess attachments are disabled on this forum. The checksum error is as follows:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=com.springsource.sts.ide, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
Problems downloading artifact: osgi.bundle,org.eclipse.egit.doc,0.10.0.201011092121.
MD5 hash is not as expected. Expected: c8d52ea9258e6256686cf4ea2572c2a6 and found ba03aac3722c672ed15c33219c0550d2.

Ok, so the function is certainly different on the latest nightly build. If I use the above steps to reproduce, then the only branch I can see is 2.1.x. I couldn't previously see this but I could see a branch on another remote, which I can no longer see.

However, if I tick the twisty option "All Changes in Repository" instead of "All Changes of Resource", then all the branches and tags show up, much like in gitx. This is excellent - thanks very much! Smile
