There are quite a number if JUnit Tests that demonstrate local and remote Authentication and Authorization. They are
location in the project org.eclipse.riena.tests. There are even a number of .launch files for running them
"Authentication*.launch" or "Authorization*.launch".

There is a wiki page http://wiki.eclipse.org/Riena_Getting_started_security describing some of the concepts of Security
that we use. (It is a lot of using JAAS and Equinox Security)

If you start the Riena Sample App Server (there is a launch for that tooo) then you can start the SWT Example
Application.product (use the product launcher not the regular launcher). If you start the product launcher it will ask
for userid and password and verify that against the Riena Authentication Service on the Sample App Server......

Anything more info you are looking for....
