where do I download Maven? I'm a bit confused. Downloads are on Apache,
which seems outdated. Issue tracking happens at CodeHaus and Tycho is at
Eclipse.
You need maven 3 beta 1 although beta 3 is already out because we don't
follow each maven beta/RC immediately as there are significant changes to
adapt to.
This will be less confusing once maven 3 is final soon.
As with any other maven plugin, tycho plugins are downloaded by maven as
soon as you start referencing them in your POM.
Tycho is published on the default maven repo http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/sonatype/tycho/ which ensures that all you
need to download is maven 3 and you are good to go, no need to configure
additional maven repos.
Regarding the issue tracker, I had already asked Jason van Zyl, this was his
statement:
"We have a lot of stuff in JIRA so this will just take some time to migrate.
This can happen over the course of the parallel IP process"
Hope this helps,

I figured that there would be some automatic. But my issue was more
about how to obtain the official Maven download. The version promoted at
Apache was "beta 3". But I wasn't sure if that is the official source.
