Hi,

I am new to Eclipse Modelling. So far, I have worked with another UML tool
to create UML models. What I do now want to do is to impor these
previously created UML models into Eclipse for graphical modelling. I have
generated XMI files for the data exchange but I cannot find a way to
import such a model. When I create a new model in Eclipse, an XMI file is
automatically generated for each model, so Eclpse seems to be capable of
handling this file format. Do I have to convert the XMI file to a special
format that is used by Eclipse? I have read something about EMF, GMF and
Ecore, but I was not exactly able to figure out how to work with my XMI
files.

Thanks for your help,

Markus
