Hi eclipse world.

In the eclipse rcp intro page you can specify a welcome home page and standby page. The current behaviour is that when the Welcome page is put into standby mode it reverts to the homepage regardless of the page the fullscreen welcome was on.

Is there a way to transfer the state of the welcome screen from and to the standby page?

The RCP application with intro template uses the CustomizableIntroPart class from org.eclipse.ui.intro for its presentation, and that class always has the behavior you describe which is to switch to the standby page whenever welcome is not maximized. I don't believe there is any way around that short of writing your own class which subclasses IntroPart.

Thanks for the infomation Chris

I guess that means theres no way to disable the standby mode either without creating a new intropart.
