Dear all,

In the context of the Epsilon GMT component we have implemented
tool-support for defining and executing custom wizards (i.e.
macros/scripts) in GMF-based editors. Important features include support
for existing GMF-based editors without needing to re-generate or
customize them in any way, support for user-input, and for
undoing/redoing the effects of a wizard on the edited model.

As an example, in http://www.eclipse.org/gmt/epsilon/cinema you can
watch a flash demo of a wizard that automates the task of extracting an
interface from a UML2 class in the GMF-based UML2 class diagram editor.

This work will also be presented in the Modelling Symposium of the
Eclipse Summit Europe 2007 on October 10 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

Cheers,
Dimitrios
