I created an occurence marker as described in the PIMP Your Eclipse tutorial from 2009, but it does not seem to work correctly:

The getOccurencesOf method does not get invoked when the selection changes inside the editor, only when the editor opens or I change editors, and even the only once.

This way its impossible to provide occurrence marking, as the universal editor does not know about the possible occurences.

I don't know whether this is a bug, or I am missing something, can you guide me? I'm using the actual release from the update site.

Thank you for your help,
Zoltán Ujhelyi

This definitely looks like a bug. Can you log a bug in bugzilla?

I'll take a look.
