Hi all

We have built our app on top of RCP because RCP provides us all the
components in the Eclipse platform.

We use:
*the Common Navigator
*Properties view
*Resource management
*Import/Export... the list goes on...

Are these components (re)usable in a plug-in created using e4?

Hi,

Same issue here.
I tried to add a bundle with a fragment.e4xmi in which the CommonNavigator is refered but that didn't work. I am new to e4 (As most of us) and I am just guessing not really knowing what I am doing.

If you got it working please share how.

Best regards,

Hello,

Existing Eclipse components will currently not work in pure Eclipse 4 applications as they depend on the compatibility layer. If you use the comp. layer they should still work.

Best regards, Lars
