We have a large web app with multiple Maven projects. Command-line seems to work fine, but with Eclipse+IAM, the project seems to deploy correctly only about 50% of the time.

First, I'm not convinced that the Publish on the Server window is working correctly. I've been using winmerge to validate publishing and I've noticed frequent problems. (Plz, point me in the right direction on this one). It seems like if I do a Clean-Publish, then it should nail it each and every time and it doesn't.

However, about 25% of the time, it appears that the build has failed or jammed somehow. Closing and reopening the project seems to kick it back into motion and also gets the webapp to publish correctly.

Any pointers on how to debug would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a project with 20+ developers that all have this issue.

There are a lot of improvements to WTP deployment in 0.12, available at
http://q4e.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/updatesite-dev/

If you still have issues with that build, please let us know what
appserver and version are you using, and what issues do you have.

I have used it successfully with jetty, tomcat, jboss and websphere,
having overlayed wars, EARs,...

Hi Carlos,

I still can't seem to install the developer version:

I run into these MD5 errors:

Is there a way around these?
