Looks like HIMSS 2007 applications are due Sept. 15th as well as
Connectathon 2007. I was under the impression that HIMSS would be later.
Interested parties should take apprpriate measures.

The IHE Participants Workshop will be held on October 19th and 20th at
the Four Points by Sheraton - O'Hare. Attached is the agenda and below
are the meeting details. We suggest you make your room reservations as
soon as possible. The cutoff date for the special rate is September 30th.

Summary:
The purpose of the organizational meeting is to make certain each vendor
is aware of all of the steps that are required to participate in the IHE
demonstrations at HIMSS, 2007 and ACC, 2007. For each system that a
vendor is placing in a demonstration, the vendor must send a technical
representative who can participate in technical discussions with
Technical Project Managers and the technical representatives of the
other companies. The company representative is typically the person who
will perform system testing at the Connectathon, not the marketing
representative for the product.

REMINDERS
Connectathon Testing and IHE Demonstration Applications Due Date: Sept. 15
A reminder that applications for testing participants at the IHE North
America Connectathon are due by Sept. 15. The event is scheduled for
January 15-19, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E Wacker Drive.
Applications are generated by an online registration system and must be
mailed with payment according to the instructions on the application.

Applications to participate in the Interoperability Showcase
Demonstrations at the HIMSS and ACC annual meetings are also due on

A series of webinars designed to provide technical information for
potential participants in the IHE North America 2007 Connectathon and
