no profile when installing with p2 installer? [message #568021]

I have an Eclipse product that i install via the Eclipse p2 installer. ( http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/equinox/ drops/R-3.6-201006080911/equinox.p2.installer-3.6-win32.win3 2.x86.zip)

All looks fine in the product except 1 thing there is no added update repositories.

I have an p2.inf file that specifies to include our internal update repo. This settings works when using export product and testing. But not when installing via the p2 installer.

Noticed that the profile that gets created is called:

<installpath> p2\org.eclipse.equinox.p2.engine\profileRegistry\C%58;%47;Pr ogram%47;Eclipse%47;eclipse3.6.profile

This looks very weird. is this the cause why it doesn't import my repos?
