Hello all,

Below is an FYI on interest in DSDP from the European Space Agency.

Hello Luciana,

Thanks for your interest in DSDP! There are several levels of
participation. You can choose one or more sub-projects that you are
interested in and would like to follow. From there you can attend
meetings for those projects and offer requirements and input for your
use cases. If you want to contribute software or help with development,
you can sign on as a developer on one or more of the projects. DSDP is
still in the early stages-it's just a proposal right now-so there's no
coding happening yet. We are still gathering requirements. However, as
with any open-source project, we're ultimately looking for developers.
:)

Company participation is similar to individual participation. In both
cases, if you're doing development work, we will be looking for a time
commitment that you can dedicate to the project. Many of the companies
currently participating are intending to contribute some level of
development, because they are all currently building Device Software
products on Eclipse as it exists today.

Hello,

I work for the European Space Agency as a senior computer systems
engineer and would like to express interest on a personal basis in the
DSDP project. Also, I will inquire within ESA as to whether we would
like to contribute as an organization. What are the requirements, if
any, for organizations wishing to support the project?

My interest in DSDP is based on the SPARC V8-based LEON2 and LEON3
targets developed by the agency. I formerly worked for Wind River and
other companies in Silicon Valley so I have experience with a range of
embedded platforms.

Sincerely,
Luciana Messina
