BZ Media Launches Eclipse Review
First-ever print magazine in the United States for the growing
Eclipse ecosystem to reach 30,000 IT professionals, software
Huntington, N.Y., January 5, 2006 - BZ Media LLC today announced
the launch of Eclipse ReviewT, the first print publication in the
United States for the Eclipse community.
Eclipse is an open-source tools framework for IT professionals
and software developers, and is also a vibrant, fast-growing
community ecosystem led by the Eclipse Foundation. The Eclipse
community is supported by such industry giants as IBM, Intel,
BEA, Hewlett-Packard, SAP, Wind River, Borland, Computer
Associates, Sybase and Iona. BZ Media is an Associate Member of
the Eclipse Foundation.
Eclipse Review ( http://www.EclipseReview.com ) will be published
quarterly in 2006. The first issue will be available on March 20,
2006, and will be distributed in print and in a PDF (portable
document format) edition that's identical to the print
publication. The PDF will be downloadable from the magazine's Web
site. Circulation of the premiere issue will be a minimum of
30,000 IT professionals, software development managers and other
qualified Eclipse buyers and decision-makers.
Ted Bahr, Publisher of Eclipse Review and President of BZ Media,
said, "More than 62 percent of companies surveyed in November
2005 say that they have adopted Eclipse tools and technologies,
up from 53 percent in 2004. Nearly 40 percent of organizations
now require or prefer that new development tools be Eclipse-based
or Eclipse-compatible. The Eclipse market is booming, and Eclipse
Review is the best way for IT professionals and developers to
gain the technical information they need about Eclipse-based

study was completed in November 2005.

Advertising rates for Eclipse Review begin at $3,495 for a one-
time four-color page. The advertising close date for the premiere
issue is February 16, and the cover focus will be "Software
Testing With Eclipse." Discounts are available for combined
frequency with other BZ Media publications, and for multiple
insertions and 4x programs in 2006.
BZ Media also publishes SD Times, the newspaper for the software
development industry, and Software Test & Performance, the only
monthly magazine for software test & QA professionals. The
