Hi,

I know that fragments can be used to create language packs for plugins, but how can I externalize strings in the manifest and the fragment.xml?

A possibility would be to create a language pack for both plugin and fragment, but this would make the language pack dependent of the fragment.

Any hints?

In your fragment you still use something like:
Bundle-Localization: fragment-win32

and then you can use keys in your fragment.xml and Bundle-Name:
%fragmentName just like in a real bundle.

To provide a new language pack for it, you either include your other
properties files in your host plugin language pack, or you provide a
different fragment to the same host plugin.
