Hello,

I am new to texo. I started with a small sample ecore with two tables. Yesterday I've installed texo (actual version), JDK1.6. I can create the annotationsmodel from my ecore file without any problems. Therefore I click "Generate ORM annotated model" from the context menu. This results into a <ecore-name>-orm.annotationsmodel file that contains some ORM annotations like @Entitiy. But the generated code that I also create from the texo context menu doesn't contain these annotations. I also renamed the annotationsmodel file to <ecore-name>.annotationsmodel as described at http:// wiki.eclipse.org/Texo/Code_Generation_Details#How_Texo_uses_ the_Annotations_Model chapter "How Texo uses the annotatoins model" without success.

Do I have to do something else to generate the annotations? I don't find any information at the web. Or do I have some misconfiguration?

Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Texo currently does not generate the jpa annotations in the code. I checked with several ORM people and they all advice
to do the jpa annotations in a separate orm.xml file, therefore this is the first mode to support.

I am waiting for the first proponent of jpa annotations in the java code to implement that part. The Texo infrastructure
is setup for supporting that also.
