Hi,

According to the comment in WorkDirCheckout.java there should be a dircache.DirCacheCheckout. But I can't find it anywhere. Is it deliberately left out of git?

The reason I ask is that I'm looking for a simple method to checkout a whole tree. (There's mention about a checkout porcelain addition being worked on, but that's not yet available.)

Kind regards, Kees Bakker

DirCacheCheckout is here

This change is not yet accepted, but comments our good now and I guess it will only be a matter of day's until it's in.

Regard checkout in our porcelain API: Although we could already now add a checkout command to our porcelain api (working with deprecated GitIndex) I would like to save this effort and wait until dircachecheckout is in.

Ciao
Chris

DirCacheCheckout is part of the recently released 0.9.3 [1].
