I logged a bug (312381) in WTP - https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=312381

A patch is now available. Can somebody guide me on how I can install this patch?

Thanks in advance,
Ankit

You can't literally install (just) the patch. You basically have to
compile the effected plugin and create a feature patch. Kind of
complicated ... but, you wanted to learn more about it, you might start
with

http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. pde.doc.user/guide/tools/project_wizards/new_feature_patch.h tm

If you are doing this "just for yourself", you can do it all from your
workspace, making sure you have a PDE target consisting of the exact
version of WTP you want to patch. (patch features are, as far as I know,
always for any exact version of the features/plugins to be fixed.

Hope this helps,
