HI,
I work with BIRT 2.3.0 and have an embedded Application using scripted data sources.
There is an existing .rptdesign template. I like to create an index now. I should look like this:

Componets: _________________pages:
componet GUI_________________1 - 3
component Business Logic_______4 - 5
component Database Storage_____6
component Web Access_________7 - 9

the components are generated by a scripted data source.

I know there is the page number item in the ROM, and it has to be processed by the Report engine...
I have the Book 'Integrating and Extendding BIRT' at hand and read through the first quarter.

So far I didn't come to a solution.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank for any suggestions

Alexander
