I am wondering if the Collapsible Button or Pshelf allow me to open two or
more client areas simultaneously?

On a similar note, are there any widgets that have zOrdering of panels? I
would like to be able to slide one panel on top of another. iCal in Mac
has this functionality. It is a bit like an outlook style pshelf, but two
panels are open and one panel can slide over the other panel.

thanks.

The collapsible buttons widget does not house any "framing", and is just
resizable buttons widget and nothing more. Any "action" you wish to take on
those buttons is completely up to you. So, for example, if it was inside the
bottom section of a ViewForm that's part of multiple sashes/viewforms, you
can just reload any section you wish on a button click to simulate what
you're asking.

I can't answer for PShelf as I'm not the author and I haven't used it much.

Regards,
Emil
