I get the infamous "ERROR: JVMPI, an experimental interface..." error when I try to use the profiler.

For reference: I'm using eclipse 3.4.2 (on Windows XP) and have installed TPTP 4.5.0/1/2 via the updater. And now I'm getting the error.

From the docs I've read, it seems I need to d/l a new TPTP Agent Controller (The WINDOWS-IA32 JDK flavour I assume) into a different folder than eclipse; go to /bin; and then run the SetConfig.bat file to configure. Well, I don't see any SetConfig.bat file in the d/led /bin dir; and so I'm stuck...

This process is quite murky and I'd appreciate someone shining a spotlight on it to help me out.

Thanks!

Hi NRN, the error you are seeing occurs when using a Java 6 JVM with the JVMPI profiling agent, which uses an unsupport interface in Java 6 JVM. Can you provide details on how are you launching your application?
