Hi,
I'm trying to synchronize Remus folder with WebDav server (mydrive.ch), but getting the following error:
Error while synchronizing
Element "test1" was not added, the repository connector skipped this item.
However the remote folder now contains subfolder INFO_50c9b69cd473001f1b70ff715cf77729 and file 50c9b69cd473001f1b70ff715cf77729.info inside.
Also could you provide me with some instructions on how to build the system from sources locally. I've checked out sources from trunk, but didn't manage to build yet.
Regards,
Konstantin

Konstantin,
This message comes up if the underlying connector reported an error while performing the requested operation.
Seems to me that the add operation was successfully executed, since the remote data was created.
Can you please check if you can checkout the added data (goto Remote-Repositories-->DoubleClick on the Webdav repository --> A dialog appears where you should see the remote content as preview)
Which Webdav System are you using and which OS? - Can you please also provide an error log (see [workspace]/.metadata/.log)
Regarding building the source: You need several additional packages, see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Remus/Getting_the_sources
If you need further advices how to get Remus running from source, please let us know
Cheerz
Tom
:: EDIT:: Fortunately I could quickly test with myspace.ch the synchronization and can reproduce the error. In the past we already had problems with several free Webdav Providers, the biggest problem is that they don't satisfy completely the WebDav Specification and Remus is not so tolerant (yet) like "real" WebDav Clients (like Windows-Explorer). I'll investigate into this issue.
