hi,

i'm just reading a tutorial on web service.

it says i should add a server on windows>Preference>Server.
but my eclipse doesnot have that option.how do i add that server support?

The easiest thing to do is to install the Eclipse package designed for Java EE development. It's called "Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers". You can find it on the Eclipse download page.

Alternatively, you can try installing WTP components into your Pulsar eclipse package, but that can be hit or miss. Look under the help menu for the commands to install additional software. The main Eclipse components repository should be available there. Install all JST and WST components you see there.
