Hi,

I'm trying out some approaches to allow for scripting support to
SWTBot[http://swtbot.org/tools]. Still alpha and work in progress!

Think firebug or a linux like console for eclipse. You can play around
with eclipse APIs and try out swtbot 'scripts' without having to
relaunch eclipse.

This is still work in progress, and I'm myself unsure how people would
like to use it. The screencast may give you a rough idea about what
scripting may look like.

There's also a google group for you to discuss interesting ways on doing
scripting.
