If RAP adds GEF support in the future, it might be possible to get GEF support on the iPad through the browser. There was some discussion on rap-dev about GEF support a while back: http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/rap-dev/msg00323.html
I don't think GEF via the browser is workable for what I had in mind. That post is nearly two years old though! Has there been any progress since then? Also - from what I recall does a lot of advanced RAP widgets require Flash/Flex? Definite no go for the iPad.
Well I was thinking of a port to Objective C... Anyone with Obj C experience care to comment on the (in)sanity of this?
