Hi,

I can't believe I'm not able to locate this somewhere in the docs, but my splash screen is displaying a build ID in the default (i.e. SDK product build) location; except that it says "Unknown Build". I'm unfortunately still on manual IDE hosted build for my products so that isn't getting set anywhere AFAIK. Where can I set and/or disable this? It doesn't seem to be ..runtime.products.

thanks,

Miles

Never mind. I feel like an idiot, but I must have put it in myself at some point:

org.eclipse.ui.workbench/SHOW_BUILDID_ON_STARTUP=true

These are specified in IWorkbenchPreferenceConstants, but I'm not sure that's actually point out in the docs anywhere..

I think the other question still stands though -- where exactly is the workbench pulling this from? Is it configuration? In which case is there anyway to set this from a manual build w/o editing a config.ini?

cheers,

Miles

As you mentioned, eclipse.buildId in the config.ini. But I believe you
can set it -Declipse.buildId on your command line to override it.
