I am seing the following message in maven console when trying to enable the Full Index, update index, or rebuild index on the ObjectWEB repository:

Unable to update index for ObjectWEB|http://maven.ow2.org/maven2/: Resource nexus-maven-repository-index.properties does not exist

The m2eclipse book sez that the remote repository must supply the index, which the ow2.org clearly does not. Is there no way to build that index locally? Or would that simply be cost prohibitive to have each client walking the repo?

Finally, even if the remote repo isn't searchable, why can't I browse it? I guess I could always just open the URL in my web browser...
