I used the extension point wizard to add a lightweight decorator to my RCP.

I have a class that knows when to show the decorator icon and when not, this works fine.

What I can't understand is why my icon is getting changed before being displayed. I copied the "dirty_ov.giv" icon that Eclipse uses to show a modified file as in cvs or svn. This is an 8x8 gif. The icon that actually gets displayed in the RCP looks like it has been blended or anti-aliased somehow. It is blurry instead of crisp like it shows in Eclipse.
