Properties Page Extension [message #501655]

I have added the propertiespage extension. Its showing correctly in my project properties but the property page is also showed in "Installed Software" properties. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong.

I am using eclipse 3.4.2.

I tried a dummy plugin with simple property page....not seeing what you mention. Can you share a sample?
