All,

Just a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit a proposal for an
EclipseCon talk and tutorial is less than one week away.

EclipseCon will feature talks on a wide variety of topics, including
modeling, data tooling, C/C++, mobile and embedded, OSGi, RCP, reporting,
test and performance, business, web tools and more. So if you have
something interesting to say on these or other Eclipse-related topics,
then we would like to see your proposal.

The deadline for submissions is November 19, so send in your submission
today.

Regards,
Doug Gaff
EclipseCon 2008 Program Chair

Doug,

As I mentioned in the modeling newsgroups, if you are planning to
attend EclipseCon but aren't planning to give a talk, we strongly urge
you to consider giving at least a short talk about the cool things you
are working on. They're only ten minutes so the preparation time is
minimal and it will give everyone an opportunity to find out about what
you are working on. It's a great way to hook up with people with
similar interests; meeting people at EclipseCon is half the fun. So
please consider participating and sharing a little of yourself with the
community. You'll be glad you did! You'll even get a 20% discount on
the conference as well.
