Hi,

I need to check syntax of my OCL constraints. How can I do this in OCL component of latest MDT? I just want to check my OCL syntax, and not to valid model file (for now). I'm wondering also do I need to have ecore (meta)model file for this?

thx, Milan

Hi Milan

An OCL editor has been developed by the QVT Declarative project and it
is intended to migrate this to MDT/OCL for the Helios release. The
editor provides source syntax checking and semantic model compliance
checking as well as source colouring and completions.

Both MDT/OCL and M2M/QVTd projects are currently struggling with releng
and so easy to use Update Sites are not available.

For now, it is possible to Import a Project Set from CVS to extend an
Eclipse 3.5 or later installation following the
instructions in http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT/OCL/FAQ#OCL_Editor.

The FAQ will be updated as releng facilities improve.
