Diable Default Menu Bar [message #485600]

Hi All,

I have created my own perspective in eclispe and want to disable the
default menu bar of the eclipse having options like [File,Edit Navigate
etc.] when i switch to this newly created perspective. The menu bar should
get enabled when is switch back to some older perspective.
Kindly please guide me how to perform this task with some help of
some suitable example.

Hi,

I think you' better to ask this on the PDE forum/newsgroup

Nevermind, you can look at the extension :
org.eclipse.ui.perspectiveExtensions

et hiddenMenuItem or HiddenToolbarItem.
