Could someone explain me how to customize the list used by fieldassist
to show the words that match with the text inserted in the field?? I
would like to resize this list widget or place it in a coordinate to
avoid my principal control hide behind the content assist.

Any help would be really appreciate,

This should not happen. If it is, there's a bug. You are likely getting
hit by bug 256651. If not, please file a new bug.
