What role does BLAM exactly play in a systems engineering tool chain? How can a BLAM workflow be created? Could a screencast/wiki documentation be provided for this?

BLAM is a fairly general purpose mechanism for writing automated operations to run within the OSEE client. Its primary strength is in providing the developer a very quick way to define the graphical interface that supplies the operation with the user specified parameters. BLAMs are often administrative, specialized, or infrequently run operations. Users wishing to write their own custom BLAMs can refer to http://wiki.eclipse.org/OSEE/Developers_Guide#Custom_OSEE_Op erations_using_BLAM.
